If I didn't have to go back to work tonight I'd be drinking a beer or two right now.

    You can leave now!

It's my day off. Laundry, driving the wifey around, and making dinner is all I have planned. Can't wait for Thursday to roll around, I get to start drinking around 10 and do some painting.

I also like that it would match the turtleback! LOL

I was actually thinking if I bought this, I'd skip the SAS, leave it a PreRunner. Fuck man, I just want a rig and these shops are not winning over my confidence!
Hmmmmm... been over 25 years for me.... now Safety meetings and other dose controllable items, that's another story!!!

That is not a bad thought. Cost would be a lot cheaper than doing a SAS. Are you going to become a serious rock crawler? This 4runner would be pretty capable and probably get your where you want to go. Especially if you added a front ARB to go along with the rear and the 4.88 gears.

If you are having second thoughts about doing the SAS it might be time to list out the pros and cons of getting the 4runner and/or SAS.

If that 4runner was NA it would definitely be more appealing.... I would like to know how many miles it has with the blower....

Although, if you buy it @Techoma I would he interested in buy the blower and giving you my stock parts :).... My truck just rolled 100k in 2016.

Sneaky Pete was very good we thought. GT not so much.

I'm so bored I did yard work and about to walk on the treadmill for a bit.

One of Connor's friends named Sam has a supercharged 3rd on 35s with a crawlbox? Or maybe he was still installing the tcase on. Regardless, it was a beast and more than enough to handle some great trails out at Florence and New River.

Solid idea John, just a crawl rig and one you can easily move the RTT over to for a weekend of crawling. Leave what is already a great DD and caming rig alone.

With some brake controller action and good hitch setup he could his the prerunner as a tow pig/base camp so he can really use the 4 runner hard and still get it home.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I used one of those prerunner to tow a 20 foot enclosed trailer with hot rod in it to California for a car show once and it didn't care much at all.

That shorter wheel base is definitely noteworthy. Less over hang too

It did absolutely fine. No swaying. With brake controller it stopped pretty quick and very controlled.... I was absolutely impressed.
