    MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
    Anyone that removed their storage cubbies behind rear seat of a DCSB:

    - is it making a LOT of extra room?
    - how bad was road noise increased?


    I know I can search, but 1) too lazy, 2) dont venture out of AZ section much besides just a few threads

    Some stuff here and there....
    I did and put the molle panel. It's actually allot of room. And I did sound deadening on the back cab wall. I think it was quite. Allot more quite than the stock

    Yes in deed. I never said it would be "the best towing ever" ;) just that it could potentially be set up thatta way.... I agree with you 100% as towing with a 3/4 ton is definitely a much nicer experience than having a mid size or even 1500 series truck.

    The trailer would have to be aluminum and just big enough for the runner. And he definitely would need brake controller and WDH..

    I have done A LOT of towing with my 05. I did a couple trips from VA to Southern FL with a very loaded UHaul 4x8 enclosed trailer... the taco did not like. Stopping was no big deal, GOING was! It hated any inclines, and I averaged 7 MPG!!! A few years ago I trailered my daughters Scion xB from VA Beach to Harrisburg VA to a big Toyota\Scion show. It was a brand new aluminum trailer. My Taco was very close to where it is now. Again, it sucked. I love my Taco, but I've NEVER been impressed with its towing abilities. I just did 7700 miles with the old RTT trailer, forgetting it was even attached, but it was probably under 800 lbs loaded. I KNOW it's going to feel the TurtleBack for sure. Already bought the brake controller!

    Enough room for 2 10" subs and 2 amps! Road noise... meh, turn up the stereo!

    Awesome. Running out of room in the cubbies between tool kits, assorted gun items, and everyday items I end up using like paper towels and aerosol can of windex. Need to make room for a legit med kit and whatever else I've neglected.

    So I think I'll just toss a little more at the sand rail so it can be my DD when the Taco is down, continue dumping $$ into the Taco converting it, and go from there.

    To some people, they would be complaining about that sort of thing. To me, I love that noise. Fuck quite when you can hear jets over head. Make me feel at peace in the sky.
