My (1998) Tacoma had a little dot (lit up) come up next the the "0" right next to the tachometer. I've included a pic to it, but have no idea what it is. I've Googled around with no luck. My truck did just hit 200,000 recently, so maybe it's a maintenance light? I popped on at around the 200, 150 mark. Does anyone know what it is? The truck is a 1998 V6 Tacoma.

Is there a little plastic stick there that the needle rests on when the truck isn't running? Maybe it broke off and the light is shining through now. :notsure:

200,000 miles? That light just means your engine is officially broken in now and you can run the hell out of it.

Stevo is correct. It is the little plastic stick that holds the needle for the tachometer. I just checked mine, and that is exactly what it is.
