You want to buy a single Quickfist for a larger diameter use?

    $60.00

Good to know. I need to get the fire extinguisher first and see if the place I want to mount it is even going to work.

I have my extinguisher mounted with one of my quick release mounts, I have my 20lb Air tank mounted with 2 Super Quickfists, and a buddy has his waterport mounted with them as well.

my waterport is mounted in a custom cradle and hose clamps, mounted to my Prinsu rack

I saw how you did the waterport mount and I am thinking about going the same route. However, I want to mount it lower in the Prinsu if it will work to where the spout comes out underneath the side rails of the prinsu for a more low profile look. Was going to use Quickfists as I did not want to keep it on the truck all the time but remove and add when needed for trips.

Nice, glad you made it all safe and sound.

Do you know what Talkies you bought for the Gilmer trip? I think I may buy a set that way each of our trucks has one, plus a back up just in case one goes down. Can be used as a backup to HAM and CB.

It wont fit, I tried. you'll need to trim the Prinsu at a minimum. Plus that will be placing the waterport right on the cab. The quickfists will definitely be quicker to take down and store, but I just didnt like how it felt when full of water. That, and the hose clamps are pretty quick. flathead or the right socket and its off in no time.

I really appreciate that info, I had not gotten around the testing out the width and such yet. So it would not fit between two rails at all?

I have a drill, so doing the hose clamps would be pretty easy to do as well.

Did you get your hose clamps at Lowes or HD?

Sweet, will check those out. I need to go to Academy to see if I can find me a Plano all weather case....

Would be good to have just in case, and for trail comms for spotting and such.

Not just Jambo ready, but Red Clay Rally ready!

Sounds good! I will do that! Wonder how my Tyler Academy looks...
Also, you think any Midland radio would work with the ones you have? May look at some others that have some more features or a way to use a external mic as I have one laying around I used to use for paintball.

I meant fitting the waterport outlet out under the Prinsu side rail wont work. it wont clear.

I order the hose clamps from Mcmaster-Carr. I'll try and dig up the PN.

EDIT: I cant find it, I cant even remember when I ordered them. But.. just check their website and get the Diameter you need. Mine were specific to my needs.. needing to go around the waterport, and my custom mount. I'd just get them last.

Yeah any walkies should work, just need to make sure they are on the same channel. Drew was rocking some Motorola walkies and chatting with us just fine.

Got the 42" Plano Case ordered to be able to store spare parts, some recovery gear, and misc gear up top on the Plano Case, going to look good along with the TREDs and Rotopax someday... Thanks free $86 Amazon Gift Card!

    :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

Now I just need to decide my Rotopax setup for the Prinsu. Do I want to do a 4Gallon and then a 2Gallon Fuel and 2 Gallon water up top or just two 2 gallon Rotopax up top.

Yea true! Not tot mention when I get a rear bumper I will have more Rotopax on that as well...

Ended up finding it on Amazon with Prime. It was weird as it was named different, but I checked the part numbers on Amazon to the actual plano website and they matched. Should have it Friday along with the TREDs.
