    Good to know. Thanks.
I've check out a few threads and have seen a few people run the same oil without issues. Do you have any insight as to why not to?

Do yourself a favor and invest in some of these. my new speakers sounded like shit when I installed them but putting these in made a huge difference. Without them most of the sound gets trapped in the door and makes your speakers sound like they are in a cardboard box.

Preventive maintenance basically. Replacing the foam filter from inside the air pump that tends to disintegrate, falling into your impeller blade and causing a very expensive fix. There are some good write ups on here, I just saw one the other day on this thread and ordered the filter from Amazon for like $12 I think. It's a 5 minute job literally. And it's like the Toyota engineers actually had the diy'er in mind by having a little 1" nub on the end.

Finally tracked down an annoying creaking noise in the cab. I originally thought it was coming from the dash and was a side effect of the damage suffered from my significant animal strike the middle of last year...but after some investigation, it turned out to be my drivers seat. When I removed my worn out wet okole covers, like an idiot I must have forgotten to tighten down the front two seat bolts.:anonymous: Rears were tight, fronts weren't even close! Tightened them up and the creak is gone!:D

Looks sick! On a side note, I have a very similar machine, but never have had it loaded in the bed. I have to haul two so I just trailer them. Mine are 05's, which I believe was the first year Honda went away from the signature "bug eyed" headlights. Mines the yellow one...wife dibs the red one!

Thanks! I haven't drove it off road yet and still have some trimming to do but I had 285s on my last truck and they seemed a little small after awhile. So far I've done a cab mount chop and trimmed just a little off the back of the fender. Gonna knock my pinch weld in sometime this week and should be good. I haven't trimmed the front part of the fender of front bumper yet. Was waiting on everything to settle.

Mines an 03 just about fully built for racing and I have a fully built trx450 too. Me and my buddy race and our trailers only big enough for one so we put one in the bed and one on the trailer. I like the look of the bug eye better myself. Along with the yellow. More of the old school look.IMG_1647.jpg

Makes that big of a difference with those rings, eh?

Hadn't even heard of them before but I'm not exactly a car audio expert. Doing the deadening/dampening this weekend too...
Tempted to get the rings via Amazon Prime so they're on hand when I get into the install.
