Only other thing I can think of is I hope the gears were matched correctly?

If he doesn't get it working right I'll have to find someone else to figure it out. Which is another bill and more headache. I sent him a text saying that when they test drove it after they got the front differential actuator working to test the four-wheel-drive they should have noticed the vibration.

IMG_0981.jpg Finished the grill late last night. It might only be temporary but I think it looks 100x better than the stock chrome. Next is the rest of the chrome. Any suggestions on the toyota emblem on the steering wheel?IMG_0983.jpgIMG_0985.jpg

Can't argue with being healthy but a vegan diet is not healthy. Everything in moderation is healthy. Depriving yourself if things isn't good for anyone.

We'll hopefully it's just an angle problem or low on fluid somewhere in the front. There will be a little vibration at speed in 4wd but not enough for your passenger to notice.

Don't worry I'm not deprived of anything. I grew up on a cattle ranch I can't* go vegan... But my wife knows what she is doing Home makes everything from scratch, she is an amazing cook. But I agree a little moderation in all things is the way to go. Except beer always drink beer!

I bought just the cut and bent grill mesh so I painted the bezel and adhered the mesh to it. Not satisfied with my workmanship. I'd say its 90%. I don't think I let the paint cure enough before handling. It could also be that it's been below freezing the past couple days. There are a couple spots that aren't perfect when up close. I just washed the truck and it held up so i guess that's a good sign.

It's not just a vibration. It is a loud almost grinding type noise like it feels like it wants to engage and disengage or something. It sounds bad, or like when a tire rubs on the fender or fender liner. Can feel it in the gas pedal. Not in the steering wheel or truck overall. I still think it's in the 4 wheel drive itself. He must have thought so too, or I don't think he would have opened it up.

Jeff, just wondering, did you check to see if the front driveshaft was rubbing on something? That would definitely make a gringing sound only when in 4 wheel drive.

I didn't, but he did an external check of everything this morning and said everything looked good and was tight. If he thinks it's the drive shaft angles being different, why didn't they see that this morning before opening it up?

We'll hopefully if there is no major damage, the gear sets match and you caught everything in time, he will find the problem with no major bill for you. BTW, did you have the ECGS bushing installed yet? With everything torn apart would be a good time to have it done. You will never have to deal with the needle bearing again. Just a thought.
