So I found a set of 17" FJ alloys for $200 and another set of 16" 2017 Tacoma steelies for $150. Toying with the idea of two sets of tires. @Sandman614 do you need to run spacers on the steel wheels?

I have one.. I'm disassembled my stock bumper so I can repair and repaint it but I think I broke a plastic bracket piece.. I used Tim's special glue and I'm just going to pray it holds.. my truck should be semi stock sooner than later... I'll least have the pictures of what she once was...

I still have my old truck and will be my DD. All it took was one, long trip in the access cab, and the light in my wife's head goes on. What do I do? Run with it!

Any mods will be slow going, but it will be conservative. A little lift, new wheels and tires, move sliders over, etc. I won't even be contemplating that for a while.

I'm really curious of what mine will be, but I don't have to worry about that for nearly a year. They were $120 last time for my other truck and $202 for the camper.

    I agree!

So, here it is. I don’t have many pictures yet because I was in a rush to get to work. Long story, but as I have stated before, we needed to replace my wife’s Elantra before I got another truck. We had bought it new only a couple of weeks before we found out we were going to have a little one. Lately, it has been giving us a warning that the transmission is going to take a dump soon, even though the dealer said they could find anything wrong. We took it in before it turned 100k on warranty. Her next vehicle was going to need to be able to load up the family, gear, and tow the camper. So, we traded her car for the new truck and kept my old truck. We are going to buckle down and get it paid off, and then get her a new vehicle of her choice. This way it opens up her choices since it won’t have to tow the camper. It will not be a sedan. She doesn’t like them. She was driving a truck when we married. So, she will drive the new truck mostly but I can drive or mod it anytime I want to. This is the best of both worlds. I get a new truck and she gets something a lot, lot safer and dependable to haul the little one with. So, now we are a two taco family.
