Depending on how money is then I would definitely go. I've almost backtracked to being a beginner again because I think it's been five years since I went skiing.

You will be fine. It will just be like riding a bike, you won't forget. A few runs down the hill and i'm sure you will be fine.

I know I'll prolly be fine :D. Actually I think I get most nervous about the chair lifts (once fell off one at Sierra at Tahoe haha).

I'm not sure about how much it costs. I think it depends on which ski resort but I can do some research on that.

Would you be doing skiing or snowboarding? Every ski resort I've been to has a place there where you can rent a board/skis and boots. Tahoe has a few places where you can rent from them, which might be a little cheaper.

Other than that some gloves, ski pants, jacket, and sunglasses/goggles . A beanie would be good too. Warm clothes that are comfortable to move around in and are semi waterproof.

You can rent the boots/snowboard there at the resort. I wanna say its like 30 bucks. You can also rent here in Sac at any of the ski shops. Lift ticket at SIERRA is like 65 bucks. It's expensive. As far as clothes go get something that is water resistance so you are not soaking wet by the end of the day if you fall alot.

Mt. Rose is 65 bucks too, with a 59 online special. Boreal is 47 bucks tho

Ski gear can be expensive, but I don't think you would need anything real fancy tho.

Holy SHIT! guess I'm not going. Looks like its going to be $350 just to get the gear I need. Maybe next time. Just spent a bunch of cash getting more stuff to prep the garage for mod day.

I should drop some poundage before I try something like this anyways. probably would hurt myself. If all goes well I can try it out next year.
