I ordered a set of Dakar Leaf Springs for my 1999 Tacoma off of Ebay (PN: CS046RA and CS046RB).

One of the sets of springs arrived today, but it was not in a box. They just delivered the leaf pack with the shipping label taped directly to the springs.

As you might imagine, some of the plastic bits got a dinged up during shipping. One of them has fallen off completely. Should I be worried about this? Or will the springs work correctly without the plastic guide?

Mine came like that too brother man. I didn't worry about it tbh. The leaves might wiggle a little bit but the rest of the bracket should hold everything in place

You can make your own out of some flat bar and bolts from home depot and $10.. or go without them and when the leafs come out of alignment (which they will) just smack them a few times with a hammer and they will get straight again

Most venders just sullifane wrap them and ship em... If they can't handle a little shipping action, you dont want them on your truck anyways bud. Leave some mid grade feedback for seller and bolt em up. I love mine!

Call ARB and tell them what happened. They'll throw a "OLD MAN EMU REMOTE SERVICE KIT (CLK6)" in the mail to you. Pretty common thing.

Thank you for all of your help, gentlemen! I sent ARB an email to their tech department. Hopefully they'll get back to me soon, I'm ready to install this lift!!!

    Thanks again.

Not enough to have a build thread.
I had the same thing happen, But when I put them in, one of those brackets was popping, (or to be more precise, the leaves were popping in the bracket). I called OME and they said theyd ship me some new guides (free) to see if it fixed the problem.

Yessir, I contacted ARB tech, and they are shipping me a couple sets of "clip liner kits." I'm waiting on brake lines and poly bushings from Wheeler's anyway.

Popping noise? No, but I haven't installed the Dakar springs yet.

Or are you asking about the poly bushings? I have a long list of "while-I-have-it-all-torn-apart-I-might-as-well" stuff...including sway bar and steering rack bushings.

No, I put poly bushings in along with the Dakar leaf pack but got a popping noise from the left rear leaf at one of those bracket where the guides were damaged.
