May 23rd, 2014 - Special ordered my Baja!

Apr 11, 2014 - Picked up my baby from the dealership after waiting so long!!!

June 14th, 2014- Said bye to one of the cleanest 1st gens I have ever seen (at least for the miles it had) and glad I had the chance to own it!

Update
Fog Light Bezels and XSP-X Bumper Cladding

 

Quick question, being that you are in Utah, how difficult was it for you to find and order the XSP-X bumper cladding?

 

It wasn't to bad I ordered it online from TRDSparks and I had to find an XSP-X Vin# definitely worth it!

 

I think any dealer could probably get it as long as you have an XSP-X vin# and possibly the part# of the bumper cladding

 

Done and done. I'm in CA and the 2 dealers I went to weren't much help even though I have the part number. I assume they just aren't familiar with it. Ordered with Sparks, fast and easy. I also contacted another dealer in the east coast (NC) and they were able to order it as well so I assume it's just a regional thing.

How did you save up so much money in high school?

 

A lot of saving and never going out and doing things lol! Every summer was full time and in high school had a ton of work release so made it really easy to make some cash!

Looks so much better under the hood! I have a Volant ram I want to mod onto the AFE but need to figure out how everyone else did it!
And I need to paint my valve covers!....... If I get the courage to take my supercharger off and the valve covers themselves

Back from SEMA and already modding again! Fixed one issue that Toyota made on the 2012-2015 Tacomas with the V6. They added a Smog pump to comply with emissions. Good in theory but Toyota dropped the ball by putting extremely cheap filtering media that in notorious for crumbling in time and destroying the pump. To save myself $1000+ down the road I decided to spend $14! This whole mod is thanks to a guy on facebook who did the write up but I'll summarize it real quick.
1) Take off cover.
2) Unbolt T25 bolt on top of pump
3) Take out filtering media
4) Pry off inlet cap
5) Install UNI 1" Breather on the inlet
6) Put the cover back on
Simple and easy!

Also got my black interior peices (big thanks to @Titus_Will_Toyota, @Cativelense, and @kgarrett11 !!!) just waiting on the Hilux 4x4 switch to arrive!

Update
The TX Baja is one of my favorite OEM packages but wasn't supper happy with how low it was especially in the back. So decided to fix that without getting rid of the OEM TRD Pro suspension! Just added Toytec 1" front spacer that is special fit for the Baja/Pro and added a Icon 1.5" aal to the back to get rid of the Carolina squat. Got to say I'm really happy how she turned out! Now new tires in the future!....... Late future lol!
