I have a 2017 TRD Pro Taco and notice that my exhaust crossover is super low. It is probably my lowest point on my car and wanted to know good plate kit that will work with my TRD skid plate and go all the way back to cover the entire undercarriage.

    Please let me know.

@Pelfreybilt check them out. Others too, but I use these guys. They have skids that match up to the pro skid plate too.

Thanks for the tag. We don't have the "Pro-Mid" on the site yet, were waiting on hardware kits, any day now. The skids are complete and in stock. The Mid skids are designed to work with the factory TRD Pro front skid.
If you dont have the Pro front skid then you wound want to order our standard mid skid along with our IFS skid. The rear skid that covers the exhaust crossover works with either combination of skids. The rear skids come in 2 versions, stock exhaust and a rerouted exhaust version. The rerouted version is completely flat so no hang up points where the exhaust hangs down. The reroute sids required you having the exhaust rerouted at a local exhaust shop, its typically under $200 for the exhaust work.

you can also relocate the exhaust. raising your lowest point sounds like a good start.

Here is a picture of how flat after reroute. Cost me around $50. Worth it.

Nice! Good idea @captain.cardinal1! Yeah @Socalduckslayer, I have the TRD pro skid plate. Let me know when you have the entire set and I'll order everything. Possibility to stop by and pick it up?
@captain.cardinal1 did you get the exhaust work done in San Diego?

no, i live in Louisville, Kentucky. I do suggest getting the slim version with the exhaust modification. After a couple trips out, i sure am glad i did.

Yeah. I'm gonna get it re-routed. It's so odd that they put it right there to get nailed. Curious what other items besides the suspension can be adjusted to get better clearance.

33's give you an inch over stock, shackle flip, spacers, etc. there are a million things, but my @icon 2-3" has taken me places i never thought possible. (thats what the skids are for)

Here is a photo of the new Pelfreybilt "Pro Mid" skid with the Rear Skid for an exhaust reroute. (for your reference)

I have not yet installed them, just finished painting all of them tonight. As soon as the rain stops, I will install them and take photos for you guys.

But if you want them, it's not currently on their website, so I suggest you call Pelfreybilt directly.

Have fun drilling those back holes. PIA Use a floor jack, and oil. Just a suggestion

@captain.cardinal1 yeah.. I don't know if I want long travel and completely go outside of the "stock" suspension. I'm bummed that the fox shocks on the PRO are not adjustable. Maybe some spacers and I can keep those shocks and get some bigger tires.. I at least want to get rid of these Goodyear ones..

I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell you what I think you should do, but long travel is (as far as I'm aware) much more work. Parts need to be checked regularly and adjusted and greased. Not ideal for everyday driving. My icons are basically adjustable on the fly. Jack the truck up, loosen lock nut on coil and turn. Easy.
