Yeah man, I'd say a properly working truck is more important than little cosmetic mods! Your truck already looks great anyway

Hey @JerryTaco, can you confirm that the SDHQ switchpro is blue backlit? I seem to recall you saying that it was, but the website just details the regular switchpro specs.

As far as I know, it is, or at least an option. They do have them in Stock but it'd be worth calling and talking to cliff to confirm

Awesome, thanks for the info. And it programs just like usual? Do you have any pictures of it mounted?

    Sorry for all the questions!

I talked with them about the original situation when we had the first problems. I did email them yesterday but got no response about this situation so far, which I think is piss poor. I'm trying to be as nice as possible to just get through this and hopefully be done with him eventually. But they should no of the way he handles things isn't very good as far as I am concerned. I personally think in the end they are probably more worried about selling as many girls as they can. They did reinstall the rear end gears for me but I really don't think there was much else they could do. Don't know in the end how much more referring I'll be doing of any of these people. Sad to say.

I got my door cup and tailgate protectors in the mail today. Also my replacement license plate led's. Hoping the others were faulty that they kept blowing the fuse. If not, don't know what that issue is either.

I thought I remembered you talked to them about the rear. If the rear gears were bad the fronts could be too. I would think they would want this fixed fast and for it to blow over , with a happy customer. Putting their head in the sand is not going to help . Mention TW if you have not done so . It seems to be a lot bigger than most know of for Toyota owners .

I want to get the pro tails too
But I wonder if the truck is gonna look a little weird with the stock headlights .
I definitely not gonna spend $2000 on the pro heads

Do you think going with Yukon gears would have been a Better option? Trd sport is the same diffs from 05 and up correct?

Thanks man.. yeah helps that my headlights are blacked out already, kind of ties everything together..

As for the exhaust, I'm not big on bolted on exhaust tips. That said, I am looking at two cat back systems. Either the AFE high tuck cat back or the TRD exhaust. With the AFE, I can just bolt it on and be good to go since it for the most part is not visible. With the TRD I'd have to powder coat it black since it is visible. In all reality, AFE will likely be the route I go

Sounds correct. I bought mine directly from their site. They have a listing for the trds and a separate one for the sr5. Pro tip, turn on your fog lights during installation to help it conform to the shape of the lens. Also remove the black bezels so you can get to the edge.

Today I got a little handy and solved my own problem... bed cleats and retractable tonneau didn't play well together so I removed the wheel, replaced it with a nut and off to the races - put in a d-ring to restore some lost utility and I have an adjustable anchor point and a spot to hang the cargo net.

Not glamorous but cost about $3 as I already had the d-rings.

Anybody installed this new shift knob for manual trans?
Just wondering which has a better feel, the old ball or this new leather one...
