    No not stolen. I was in a parking lot at a mall, some asshole pulled the lever on the gate I have now, when I pulled out the gate swung open. It wasn't locked at the time. Luckily there were no other vehicles nearby. Plus it's added security for my tailgate and bedtop. It only makes sense to have it lock. My Brute Force gate locks. I want a hi clearance bumper. It's a shame these don't lock. The wife gave me the OK to buy. Guess I'll look elsewhere.

    Making a locking mechanism for your swing out gate would not be hard to DIY at all, however, we cannot offer this right now as we just do not have the time to start adding custom additions to anything with our high sales volume. It is something I will look into though, I appreciate the suggestion.

    I was thinking about just welding two small tabs in the locations below and throwing a lock through them so the handle can't move. It'd be super easy :notsure:

    That looks like a simple and inexpensive way to lock the gate. We are finishing the first article stuff on our 2016+ swing out gates and should have them ready to go into production here very soon.

    I already have a front bumper and set of skids from them. The products are great, and Satin has been a pleasure to deal with. I don't need the bumper until the beginning of March 2018. Just wondering when I should place the order to have it at the right time.

    Went to go for the complete install tonight, but ran into a problem... We didn't have a socket big enough for the castle nut on the swing out. Does anyone know the socket size for this? I saw that in this thread it was kind of answered but never confirmed.
