yeah and you're going to score greater than us and lose.

alright grandpa, just know we will blow you away when you stop for all of your pee breaks.

In all seriousness though, have you guys all read the scoring and rules? wow! that's gonna be some strict scoring. A 1 MINUTE WINDOW TO ARRIVE AT CHECKPOINTS WTF?! with so many people participating it's going to be rough, but fun and I feel like hilarious. I'm looking forward to it.

Haha, yeah it's going to be tough. I think the toughest part is going to be trying to beat the sponsored trucks in the race. It seems there are a few that have a ton of cash pumped into them, and the owners don't care if they destroy them. The good part here is that part of the race is on road, so all vehicles have to be street legal. At least were not racing against $100,000 rock bouncers.

very very true. and if you look at the pictures some vehicles only slightly modified from stock did it apparently. so, I don't think capability is going to be a problem unless we run into an issue or let our balls get the best of us and do something we shouldn't. I know I'm not looking forward to (I'm assuming) the 17 teams in front of us potentially holding us all up. Like, wouldn't starting in first be the best advantage? just go the speed limits and do the easy trails you win?

Did you get the latest email explaining scoring? If another team holds you up (broken down on trail, or blocking trail) and you cannot pass, they will receive points for blocking the trail, and will incur the points for making you late as well.

correct, but you also still get your points. they just get double. so if they hold up 10 cars, they get 10x the points but you still get your points too.

Yeah idk how I feel about the scoring system.

With SOOOOO many people I feel like if you don't get ahead at the beginning it's pretty much over. And that small of gap to arrive at a checkpoint is going to lead to problems.

I'm assuming they will send teams out by team number. Usually about 10-30 min apart.

they will be staging it all so that no one is waiting on another. There will be some bottlenecking but the hope is that it will not be terrible. And dont be hating on people who have sponsored rigs we work just as hard and people often confuse sponsored for getting everything done for free. 90% of the time it is just a big break on cost but you still have to do all of the labor or pay someone to do the work
