Depends on where you put the bolt that turns it. I have it in a pita slot that takes a bit to get to.

Most people who want a tailgate want it fast. The longer it takes, the less temped they are for it.

But if someone wanted it bad enough, they'll take the time for it.

 

I took the Dremel to mine and rounded off the head to make it a little harder for them thiefing types. I also took my clamp apart before installing and covered it with heat shrink to make her look purty.

Believe it or not, those things are expensive as fuck to buy. And then if you had any color other than white, you need to get it painted.

i put these on then forgot about them when i traded my truck in. probably why i got so much on trade-in.
