3" OME Lift, Custom Fab Sliders, Decked System, ARB Front, Rear Lockers and compressor, 33" BFG K02 tires on TRD Pro wheels. Added a 2" receiver hitch, backup camera and some interior mods (console on the bench, skyjacker seat modification, some other things)
Depends on what you mean by true off road rig. Out of the box a Jeep Rubicon will go anywhere, as will to a lesser degree 4Runner trail edition, Land Cruiser, TRD pro Tacoma...

I think some newbies go too fast off road. I don't care what you're driving, if you go too fast you'll break or bend something.

Hey, the video I saw was on YouTube by Kelly Blue Blook. It's titled "2016 Toyota Tacoma vs 2016 chevy Colorado." In the video it doesn't look like they are bashing, but just having some fun.

Thanks for all the help guys! I don't plan on doing hard core bashing, just good off-roading, and I know that the Pro is not anything like an aftermarket kit, but i should still be able to have fun it and good off-road performance stock(At least it better). Anyone with first hand experience off-roading with a Pro, I would love to hear how it went. I wanted a 6spd manual, leather, a truck, and something a little rare. This fit my bill perfectly.

What brands or sites offer upgrade steering components?

I Offroad mine a good bit. It does fine but I haven't done anything too hardcore yet. I'm still adding armor. I've put sliders on and have skids ordered. Once they are put on I'll do a little more difficult trails. It handles level 2 trails just fine without armor.

Might as well buy a used raptor with the mpg most of us owners see. 15mpg is not too far off from the 9mpg gen 1 raptors get....and powerplant actually has enough power in front of a well designed transmission.

Did hear of some rust issues with raptors though...
