Cool. We can go to the normal spot and maybe check out the hidden spot for wind breaks. Decide which is better.

Yeah. Both 4 wheel drive. His pops may come as well bringing a tundra and pulling a trailer. Slow and steady wins the race.

Oh darn, thought you were getting out their mid day tomorrow. In that case I'll just come late morning Friday so I can stick around until Sunday.

    Odds and Ends
I dont recall any major washes on the Superstition side of the desert but sure wouldn't want to be in any of the major washes on the north end. For anyone coming down from IE/OC etc the 78 might be a mess, there are several spots where the washes cross over the highway making it impassable.
I think for those of us still planning on going we will need to be diligent with safety, things can change quickly down there.

Ouch, I'll have to plan this out for me. That is usually my typical route.

PLEASE pay attention to the location you're looking up weather for!! this is for superstition mountains ARIZONA! - at some 1500m elevation. look up BOREGGO SPRINGS - shows no rain on saturday at all. Thurs pm and friday all day rain, but shows sunny and chilly saturday. Agreed, gonna be a soggy mess out there, but it's at or below sea level out there. no snow, and a MUCH better forecast! be prepared, but lets do this!
