I've been doing it for 20 years so difficulty is rather low.

I do.. stuff. Program electronics and repair, with a smattering of other things related.

Programming (unsurprisingly) is boring as fuck, and sometimes tedious - but easy nonetheless and maybe 70% of my actual working time. The repair side is far more enjoyable, but very much the lesser activity as far as spent time goes.

    I like to tinker.

Stuff... sounds intriguing. I can see how programming would be mind numbing. Why doesn't this work? Oh, there's a ";" in the wrong place.... thank God I read all that code and found that semi colon.

My job involves lot of talking... usually about the same thing, with different people, all day long. LoL After a while I'm like. "If I have to explain what pH and Alkalinity are to one more person...." and then the very next client comes in and asks, "How do I make my pH go down?!"

I got into an arguement with a woman one day, who told me she was a chemistry/science teacher, who insisted that high pH was acidic and low pH was basic.....

    Dude. Fuck today.

Spent all day working on new equipment that doesn't work out of the box.

I don't know what the hell South Korea's problem is, but they better get it together. Out of 6 machines in the past week, 4 have been bad out of the box. This has never happened before.

    Ever.

That sucks man. Samsung products by chance? Wonder if those machines have components from the same supplier that built their Galaxy Note S7 batteries... ughh.

Love Samsung stuff personally. :) I got Samsung phone, PC monitors, TV, Blu-Ray player...

Sorry your day sucked man. Nothing pisses me off more than brand new shit that won't work.

Was Samsung once upon a time, but the manufacturing wing who actually built and produced the stuff bought themselves out and changed the name, but still the same people/product that they'd already been making for 20 years before that.

It's never happened before so I'm assuming it's a fluke, and hoping so. This is our most stable product and is the source of 99% of what we sell. The QC and product support from both the manufacturer and the importer are excellent, and they don't change much over the years and when they do, they still support that older equipment for another decade so parts availability is no issue.

    Woof woof.
