Its an older (I think late 90's) Jayco Eagle. Will post some pictures once I get it out to my house - just ordered a tow kit package for my truck (7 pin connector, Class 4 hitch, and brake controller).

It appears your logical response has scared them from further discussions about it.

Before yesterday, I hadn't even looked in 3rd Gen in awhile. Nothing but people who don't want to hear opposing opinions in there.

I had to throw a monkey wrench into the mix. But if they are playing Flat-earth society i want to play.

Going to 4.88s from 3.9s on tiny tires would be terrible. On the bright side he wouldnt get any speeding tickets.

I tend to stay out of the 3rd gen forum simply cause all they do is bitch and moan. Rather lurk around here, post something every now and then, and keep my sanity. Arguing with someone online is like wrestling with a pig in mud. You both get dirty but only the pig likes it.

I probably get more work done this way. Although, for me, that doesn't apply to house work.

So I think I've decided which lift kit to buy. Maybe.

Coil/Bilstein 5100 Kit from Headstrong Offroad with 885 coils, no UCA, and a Deaver AAL.

    Thoughts? Opinions? Hate mail?

Yeah... It seems like that area is similar to being in the bad part of town. You only go over there when you have to...

Morning-ish friends (from the west coast)
1/2" of ice on the truck today and had to take the staff side of the snow brush to break the ice to get into my car. Every other truck out here is a Tacoma and I'm putting around in this Frontier - yay...

Looks like I'll be out here for longer than the initial time - possibly for a permanent relocation if their offer comes through and makes it worth while.
If there are any engineers in here I know Hasbro in Pawtucket is looking for product engineers (mechanical engineers will do as well) - its the Star Wars division.... it was hard for me to not inquire more...

I have a couple friends there. Now I am interested! Any idea what the pay rate is like? Only reason I would give up my ten minute commute is for a pay raise....plus a more enjoyable job.

Nice, all OEM? The OEM brake controller is a pretty nice add-on. I found one on Fleabay for just over $100 plus $50 to have the dealer 'turn it on'. I installed it myself and it was really simple.
