From what I see on it I can imagine people twisting the wrong part messing it up. Just gotta be careful. I'll be the test dummy like Chris said.

If you can get em to right around 18 or whatever you normally wheel at, pretty convenient. Better than airing down 4 times and checking and what not.

I would disagree. The arb deflator airs down in 1 psi increments and super quick. I can be ready to roll in half the time the flickers air down. However, the cool thing about those are you can screw them all on and jump in the cab and get them rolling while beginning the trail. They're not fast to deflate but they are effective. Especially in a downpour. Also, there's no checking with the arb. The gauge is attached.

But how much does the ARB cost? Not knocking, I wouldn't mind having one but for 20 bucks and being able to just screw them on and let them do their thing is pretty nice, especially like you said if it's pouring rain.

This is the first I've ever heard of this. I'd like to give yours a try. It took me a good dozen times on my spare before I really got a handle on it.

I got these cause I don't like to take a knee at each tire and wait. Just hook em up real quick and finish your coffee or Crack a beer before the trail.
@SlipperyTaco Im offended that you don't like the Christmas gift I got you last year. I think your using it wrong.

My pal I ran T.H.G.with last weekend had a Chinese knock off. It sucked ass. I think It was tapped wrong. But for all I know the arb is also Chinese. Some just get produced fucked up. Everyone has bad days. Even factory line workers. I always forgive the company so long as they make things right.

Hats off to you fellas. Good talk here. There is no one size fits all to airing down. I find there's too many people out there that believe its there way or the hwy on these threads. Ive been guilty of the same. Trying to back off that train myself. I refrain from too much advice giving these days unless I'm directly asked because of that reason. Cheers to you, mates.

True that. There are many ways to do things right and efficient. We all have our own way of doing things and it's great to share information on it to help each other learn and understand. Its why this website is so great.

After a lot of research I found that the smittybilt x20 10000lb was the best option for what I wanted to spend. Has a lifetime mechanical warranty and 5 year electric. I got it with the synthetic rope which was about $130 more but it's what I prefer. Couldn't find any deals on em. Everybody sells them the same price. I ordered off Amazon with free shipping but saw them on the shelf at 4 wheel parts for same price.
    Synthetic rope x20 is $528
    Steel cable x20 is $399
Also heard the smitty xrc 9500lb is good but somebody mentioned the waterproofing is a little better on the x20. Didn't look into it farther than that but it's about a $100 cheaper.

I'd pm you my questions but perhaps some have the same so ill keep it here. Are you wireless remote controlled? If not, how long is the cord for your remote? How heavy is your truck loaded? Are you dual battery? If dual, do you have your winch wired to your house battery or starting battery? What spring rate are you running with that winch and pelfrey pumper? Is your bumper steel or aluminium? Lastly, people still use steel cable?
