I usually spray some wd40 in between them and that helps, there is also a thread about using ZipTies to get rid of the squeak, but I have not tried that yet.

I just spray the hell out of them with WD40 and bounce on the rear bumper. Keep spraying til the noise goes away. Next time in the dirt they'll start squeaking again.

My truck was in covered parking till about 3am monday morning. I sprayed off all the excess mud once i got it back home... plan to wash it today or tomorrow. Till then i need to stop by a gas station and wash off the windows so that i can see out of them better!

I wish I had ordered it already. Need to save up some funds and find out where it fits in to the list of wants. The one I will order sometime is the SSO Slimline Hybrid bumper. There are a few other similar ones out from other companys like C4Fab, Relentless Fab and probably a few others. I'm torn on installing it myself or paying to have it done. I would like to do it myself but after installing sliders and realizing my body didnt handle doing the work very well, I need to rethink what I am still physically capable of doing.

I always go to a self car wash and spray down my truck with high pressure to get the majority of the dirt off the truck to keep my driveway cleaner.

Mine window still has the sand paper sound after cleaning. Seems to be in the window seal or track. It doesnt bother me to much and I still open my window everyday.

Pretty much every time you take the truck offroad the squeaky leafs will come back. I've read many different ways to stop the squeak but they all seem to be temporary fixes until dirt gets in between the leafs again. I just spray my leafs down the best I can and deal with the squeak. Trying to elminate it completely it is too much work just to have it come back again next time I'm offroad. If you find A more permanent solutions, please share.

Yea man, I have been researching it a bit, was going to do a kit from *********.com but going to get speakers from somewhere else and then get the amp, wiring, and speaker mounts from them.

Should be a pretty good setup once done plus I will have the doors sound deadening in as well.

Ok people... there is talks of a camping trip in Big Bend. I know @thedrewsifer just got back from there, but i think he needs to put that tent to use some more...

So far the date would be in April some time, but i can not be the weekend of the 22nd. Would only be for a weekend. Probably take off Friday and head out Thursday, head back on Sunday.

    Anyone interested??

You could make it a day trip, just sayin'.

    9 travel, 18 playing, 9 travel.

Wouldn't even need to bring camping gear or sleep.

Bring a friend and take turns driving.

The cutting doesn't look to difficult. If I end up installing it myself(which I probably will) I will cut it myself. I've read the directions somewhere a couple months ago and the directions say to remove the bumper from the truck but I've read about people leaving it on with great success. Leaving it on gives it a little more rigidness than when its removed to cut. A dremel with cutting wheel would do it or something like a jig saw may work but could be more difficult due to the size of the saw.

Edit: Install guides are under the support tab on SSO's site here: http://www.southernstyleoffroad.com/support/?v=3e8d115eb4b3

Let me know if you need any help man. I have done a lot of research lately and have experience installing/building car audio systems. I can help you pick out equipment that wont kill your bank account...
