Wiring multiple lights on multiple switches

    Currently I have 1 led bar installed on 2 switches because I can control the outside and center of the bar. I have two switches for that and 2 relays. That is all working fine.

    I have 4 more lights that I need to install.

    1x 20" bar
    3x pods for my roof rack on my shell (driver side, pass side and rear).

    They will all be independently controlled. After this install, I will have a total of 6 relays under my hood!

    Relays aren't the smallest things in the world and I want to try and conserve some space. Can anyone give me some tips on what I can do? I searched a bit and it looks like products like

    Too poor to list anything interesting.
    RFRM boxes may be a good idea. Or you can get fancy and use something like @SMKYTXN 's NSA. It'll keep all of your fuses and relays sealed.

    That Blue Seas block is nice, I bought one (yet to be installed, maybe in the summer) but it doesn't have relays built in. That being said I would still recommend it and then find/make a creative way to bolt the other relays neatly next to it before you run out to your accessories.

    in case you haven't seen these before that's one way to keep your relays organized and tucked to the side of the engine bay,

    As others have mentioned the blue sea panel is only a power distribution panel. You'll run one hot from the battery to the panel and then distribute the power to the relays from the panel. It's a good way to have fused power for your relay bank.

    The NSA that @greeneggsnspam mentioned is an all in one box. The relays, fuses, and controller are all in the box. The main benefit is that the remote is wireless so you won't have to run any new wires into the cab.

    The two switches for two functions on the light still applies with the NSA. You also have programming options with the remote.

    @SMKYTXN so the remote on your product is so you don't need to install switches, right?

    Correct.

    Add up the cost of the switches, blue sea, wire, relays, and time. You'll see the NSA isn't that expensive.

    but it makes it all too easy haha half the fun is figuring out the wiring and running new wires c'mon man! plus adding the switches gives it this, je ne se quoi, oem feel to it. don't get me wrong I'm not knocking the product one bit, it looks and sounds like a great product and had I known about it earlier on, I may have even gone that route :thumbsup:

    @SMKYTXN If I would have known about this a while ago I would have probably gone that route. I've already purchased a switch panel, switches and wiring harness and I am not looking to return them. This is good to know for future build though! Looks like an awesome product.
