You know, now that I think about it, all of the people who I saw complaining about the Dakars being too stiff were the same type of people who complained that Icons are too stiff. Maybe I'm overreacting?

Looks like the setups we use at work. I think we use the Pelican 1650's with five, black over red, foam layers crammed with Snap-On tools.
Ours get used rain or shine so just make sure you hose everything down with WD-40 or something comparable. It's a shame to see the some of those boxes full of rusty Snap-On stuff.

I agree. I read so many people complaining that OME shocks and dakars leafs were too rough, that I was worried to install. The truck rides so much better than stock and its not rough at all. I eventually added a crazy amount of weight to the bed (bed rack, RTT, water, tools) and ordered the AAL. Still rides amazing.

I thought these looked great for the price. A 2'x4'X2.25" piece for like $22. I haven't ordered yet, so I don't know shipping prices

Buy $100+ or you will be paying $30 for shipping.

Not quite ready yet, still looking for a decent Hardigg or similar, found one close but not sure if the price is right. 32"x17"x17" in good shape for $125. Is that a good price?

I paid 80-100 for all mine. Might think about a drive to see @L3Goullon even.

Mine are smaller then that that though so it sounds like a good price

If anyone is willing to do some customizing, we sell our extra tool cases for next to nothing at work. You would have to add a seal to make them waterproof, but most are double walled and could have the interior cut out with a dremel, etc. I have pallets of these things at a couple bucks a piece.

$125 is a great price for that size Hardigg as long as it's in good shape! Especially if it has foam to work with!
