Check this out-- It's a new car wash soap that you apply directly to a wash mitt or sponge. No buckets required (but it's NOT a waterless/rinseless product). You use it much like you'd use a shower gel on yourself. Apparently it contains mild abrasives for light polishing.

You spray the vehicle down, apply soap to mitt, wash a panel, then rinse the panel. Then rinse the mitt and repeat on the next panel.

At first glance, what are your thoughts?

I think it's meant to save you some work. But I haven't quite figured this one out myself. I just wondered if, and why, this might appeal to some of you.

NOT a good idea if you care about your paint job. I know, it's a truck, but some people care about that stuff.

Without properly using a foam gun and allowing the foam to carry away the dirt that it lifts away from the surface, all you will be doing is grinding it into the clear coat.

Check out this link for proper car washing instructions! I have done the same in the past when detailing cars when I had my business.
((This is just my opinion however, he is correct and his methods work!))

I agree with the above, where is all the dirt and grime going after your first pass on your vehicle? Probably right in the mitt. Then you take that mitt and wipe down your whole truck, picking up more grit as you go. Wet sanding your paint, and not in the controlled way.

I wouldn't use it on a heavily soiled car. The mitt would be collecting all that dirt and you'll end up grinding it back on your car. I'll stick to plenty of water and water pressure to do my cleaning. The less rubbing, the better.

I would not try this at all, I believe in a foam gun and the two bucket method and that is it.
