Is it snowing pretty good in pocatello?

 

no just ass shattering cold. should be getting snow tomorrow and hopfully its some good snow. going to try and mount my 48's this weekend.

Me, but with the way my truck seems to do in the snow, it might be me needing to get unstuck. I need to get a winch on this thing. Also gave her a suspension test, a ton of pellets for horse bedding. Pretty sure my Tacoma squatted less under similar load. I'm going to look at the rear leafs on here to see if they appear to be factory with blocks. Once the pallet was in the bed, my springs were frowning at me. Might need to get airbags first.

You need a diesel, and 2.5 ton axles, and more gear reduction so you can put tractor tires on. Just get something measured by feet rather than inches for tires. Somewhere about 6 ft tall should work for you.

 

those are 4 foot tall they will work fine. I didn't buy them for the taco but im going to mount them anything.

 

Despite my consumption of homemade Kahlua, I realize those are 4 feet tall. I'm just trying to save you a few dollars by getting you to skip a few steps.

BTW, the Kahlua has a bit of a tickle going down...

 

im going to edjemacate you.. 2.5 ton axles will break like toothpicks with anything bigger than a 48" tire on them that's why i picked out some Axle tech 4000's

 

Thank you for the edjukayshun. I never considered going bigger than 37s, even with my lifted ram. I use it for daily driving and also bringing hay home for the ponies and goats. Bigger tires don't really help when loaded down.

Just got into a Facebook dispute. So I'm going to ask here. Because I want to know what other people think. You are driving on a 4 lane Rd with a center lane. You are driving in the right lane when you notice (behind you) a plow approaching on the left and then it proceeds to eventually cover your car in snow. What's the driving procedure for this situation?

 

I just can't stand people who complain on Facebook about roads not getting plowed and then they complain about plows "drenching them in snow"

 

Because it's out of the ordinary and people can't handle change. It's like humans have forgotten how to ADAPT to a situation. I just like how after the last snow storm everyone was like "phew, glad that's over, it won't snow anymore now" huh? It's JANUARY.

 

and yet it said nothing about having air lockers in there. the military axles come with air lockers.

 

Any hunters in this thread? Looking for leads on areas near cottonwood that are good for elk/deer hunting. Not looking for trophy animals, just to fill the freezer. Ill be moving there around the end of may so I can get boots on ground and trail cams up once out there, just need a general suggestion to get me started. Ill be hunting archery as well.

Pickup an idaho topo guide at sportman's warehouse, it is totally worth it and you can get as lost or back in it as you want. Plus if you wanted to go from one town through the woods, you can skip the 80 mile detour to stay on/near the highway.
