    I always bring a fuck ton of chicken, maybe some veggies. Probably pre cook some rice and then bring trail snacks like granola bars and sandwiches. Keeping meat cold isn't a problem.

    At Harlan in October I ate grilled Angus hamburgers, mac & cheese, and grilled asparagus for both nights. Sausage, egg & cheese biscuits for breakfast. Sammiches and chips for trail lunches. It's not hot in March. You can keep shit cold for a long time with a cheap cooler with daytime highs in the 50s. Everyone usually eats well.
