My son is in charge of cleaning the kitchen and I always mix the drinks. Unless it is single malt.

    Good evening Chuck.

I found some inconsistencies in this grout. The stuff up against the walls has some kind of rubber in it or its just caulk, the internal tiles have actual grout. The rubber/caulk is what cut loose.

This is the 2nd round with water. We have a sunken bath and, when the plumber soldered one of the fittings that mates with the pex cold water supply, he slobbered some solder onto the fitting and the pex didn't seal and had a small spray leak under the tub. Luckily it was in the 1st year and they warranted the work. But now we're in year 4 so it's all on me. I could let insurance cover it but it's not that bad and I really don't want anyone in the house while I'm not home.

We're looking for rain possibly tomorrow, but a better chance Friday and then again Sunday. I have a rental grader coming tomorrow so I can try to take advantage of any rain on the dirt roads and not have to run a water truck as much.

They just changed the forecast here, light rain tomorrow night and Friday night. WTF? Phuck rain at least when it is below 30. Home depot had 140 50 pounds of Calcium Chloride when the ice was falling a couple of days ago, LOL not sure when it is becoming a blur. In the morning it went to 4 bags and now the inventory says Limited Stock which means they are out. People at work said they have resorted to using water conditioner salt. Not that I could get out to get any, but am close. Hate to kill all the grass though.

Wild adventure taking the dogs out just now. Youngest pup was barking and I was yelling at him to stop and be quiet. All of a sudden he comes running out of the upper yard with a whitetail doe chasing him! She backed him down into the driveway with her head down snorting the whole time. Think he was taken back by her behavior and didn't know what to do. She then ran past him into the woods and started blowing. I could tell a chit load of stories of deer and dogs archery hunting and having deer in kissing distance. But never seen anything like this with a doe! Cool wish I would have been able to take picture of it, even better a video.

This dog is just mental. I really think he has diminished or undeveloped mental capacity. He's really a good dog, super gentile yet very protective of the house and us. But he has no clue of his size and, as much as he tries otherwise, he is not a very good lap dog.

What a great picture! Not only of a beautiful dog that needs love and attention, but also the shadow box and American flag in the background.

Long story and not going to get into it right now. But my oldest son sent me this picture last night. He is almost 30 now and I cropped myself out of it flavor savor and all. They were so young and not sure I knew it at the time. I was teaching the cubs how to use a hammer LOL.

That was my uncle's presented to my aunt when he passed in 06. He was a WWII vet. I'm kind of the unofficial official keeper of the family veterans stuff. The flag really is just sitting there for now. I have a large shadow box I'm going to section off for 3 sets of ribbons and medals for him, my dad and myself. It'll all eventually go to my youngest son and he'll become "the keeper". I also have some pictures to frame that'll go with it of the 3 of us during our separate tenures. Even though it's all worthy, I'm trying not to make it a center piece in the house, but of it's own display. But for now it's litterally in the center of the house. My wife's family is pretty heavy in vet lore also, but her grandmother has all of her uncle's things and pictures. I think there's 6 or 7 of them that served from WWII to present and my youngest ties the families together with his service...that is beside my wife and I being married that actually ties the families together.
