Really Where were you? I wish they would come around here and start pulling over all the jackasses that have their high beams on. I probably see 5 - 6 people a day on my 12 mile trip going home from work and they do not shut them off when you flash them either

 

Enough said!

 

After a few hours of fun, finally got the pod lights mounted and working.

 

We just started get yuengling here about 8 months ago and its really good. I had always heard of it but never tasted it until a few months ago. The light version sucks but the regular is good.

To get back on topic, yesterday I striped the old wax, washed, clay bar, then put a new layer of wax on it. What a job

Had my truck parked for ~4 days, went to drive it... no movement was possible. Wheels would not allow any movement. Truck stalled. Slipped the clutch. Nothing. Truck finally moved in 4x4 low range, made me realize the right-rear tire was locked.

Took wheel off, drum moved ever so slightly to confirm the rearend was fine.

Parking / emergency brake was seized. Beat on the drum nothing released. Called my friend, he said to:
-Put parking brake ON
-Move truck in reverse

Worked great... no noise, no effort. Released the parking / emergency brake within an inch. The parking / emergency brake adjusts while it is ON and vehicle is in reverse. Hope this helps anyone with a similar issue.

Yeah I see a lot of those too. Not sure if it's high beams or LED/HID headlights that aren't in projectors, but either way it's not great

 

Where I live it seems every car has one headlight that's aimed incorrectly so that it reflects off of your left mirror and only into your left eye.

Ya here in Vegas cops got bigger problems then what color you fog lights are. Limo tint on the front doors are illegal to but like i said. Cops have real problems here. About 60% have limo and maybe 20% have there windshields tinted. This is my first truck or car that has not had the windshield done. Well yet. So many people have HIDs and nothing. See all the time. I would be behind a cop in my old F150 and HIDs on and lights in his face and nothing. They only mess with you if you are doing dumb s#*t.

 

I don't think I have ever heard of someone getting pulled over because of their lights here in Houston. In my state, the inspectors job is to make sure there are no illegal mods. If your registrations good, they tend to not care.

But this are the headlights that I am building. Already have the new headlights just waiting on the pods. DOT ones so it is legal.
