Morning. And indeed, almost over thankfully.

 

How's it tow compared to your 2G with the 4.0? In other words, explain why the power delivery is wonky please!

 

Morning faces! Ended up watching XXXVI last night. God, that was a long time ago. Brady looks like a kid...
Madden and Summerall did have a pretty hilarious side conversation about Bill Belichick warming up and becoming easier to talk to. Wonder where that went!


I agree that The Grand Tour isn't what Top Gear was. Celebrity Brain Crash and The American are really the only two aspects of the show that I don't particularly like, though, and I suspect that at least one of them will have disappeared by next season. Wonder if they'll ever be able to get the BBC to release the rights to the Stig. Maybe if they named him the Stog or something instead...

But the shows where they're just left to do their thing have been really entertaining. I loved their beach buggy episodes, because it was just Clarkson, Hammond, & May doing their thing without trying to be funny in-studio.

 

The power in 16 comes at higher revs than anything I have driven before (haven't driven a 2G). Can't comment on the tow aspect since I haven't yet.

Only for probably 15 mintues haha. I've have a pretty limited driving experience; Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, and my GF Hyundai on rare occasions.

I do love driving my wife's vtec! It's so different from the truck, great fuel economy and fun in the corners.

 

i've had a couple 8th gen si's. my first one i almost traded in because i was disappointed. then i started beating on it and it was a different car above 5k rpms

 

^^^ That's why GTI's are a better street car. Maybe not on the track but on the street they make their power with a much broader spectrum. That and they ride better IMHO

The one thing I don't like on hers is the trans which I feel like slips a lot.

yea......to be honest I have only driven a manual once in my life.....I could use some practice. It was an Audi A3 turbo diesel.
