    "I went wheeling this weekend"
    "Oh yeah where?"
"Oh behind my buddy's house. He's got some land"
    "So...you drove through a pasture?"

I've seen a lot of people who really enjoy mudding but I'm not one of them. I don't enjoy having to clean it up and I also don't enjoy being covered in mud.

I have no idea why people like "mudding"

I understand like crawling and conquering obstacles....but driving through mud is kinda weird to me.

Then again Ive got severe OCD - but I still dont get it

Mudding is fun if you have a dedicated mud toy. It tears shit up but it is fun bailing off into a deep hole just pinning the rev limiter lol. You gotta worry about bearings and seals but you don't have to worry about rolling your rig or dragging your door across a rock. Both hobbies have pros and cons. Just different strokes for different folks.

I bought a 84 ram prospector a few years ago for $1k just for mudding. Was a standard, single cab short bed, 4wd manual transfer case and a v8. Had some hella good times lol

To have fun mudding, you have to drop all worries and anxiety and OCD. You just gotta bring a cooler full of beer, a 4wd and some mud grips.
Just let loose and have fun and see how far you can make it and how muddy you can get your rig and see how fucking stuck you can get lol.

If I had a dedicated rig it would be a little different I'm sure. I used to do a lot of mudding when I was younger and I'll still run through a mud hole if I see it but I don't go search them out. Also, the scenery is usually nicer when you go somewhere like hidden falls or gilmer or something other than just a field.

That was a while back in Sealy lol. Guy got stuck on FB and asked for help. I told Dennis. Dennis gathered a convoy lol we all went out to help. Suprisingly... The first thing Dennis did to "help" was frame his rig out just trying to back up to the stuck guy  was a great day.

Just dont hit mud holes alone in towns you're not from... Especially if you don't know how deep the hole is. You end up being stuck for 6 hours. I had Brandi with me. I've never seen her more pissed than having to wait for hours and hours until someone on a Facebook off-road group finally had the right rig to save us lol.
