My CBI brackets are beefy. Currently they hold on to some PIAA 520's and whilst in the car wash, there is NO movement.

    No shake, no wiggle, nothing.

Even on back ass country roads rolling 80 mph, the lights don't shimmy.

Honestly, I dug around and researched a bunch.

The reason I went with CBI was because they were on sale and I got a free t-shirt.

Shipping was very fast and the t-shirt is super soft.

I use mine on the road....lol

I drive a lot when its dark because, well, DST and Indiana.

Also, I can move and adjust the drivers side for either more road lighting or more ditch. I really fucking need to get some retros.

    Thanks bro.

Like I said yesterday, we did it the hard way with the install...lol.

Removed the hood, fenders, hood hinges and then installed the brackets and every thing else back on. It took *maybe* an hour with a few breaks for booze and Camels.

That includes trimming the cowl, which honestly took the most time because I would trim a liiiiiiiittle bit, then mock up so that I had a really snug fit.

Also, your statement about leaf issues and rust. dood, you're in Texas, no rust. Also, you should be regularly bathing under the bonnet anyhoo.
