Yeah. I looked up and down but it was all 2nd gen related as I wasn't sure if it's across the board for 3rd gen. I've put 3k into the truck with grills and wheels n such but im trying to avoid another 1-2k mod! Thanks. I was even worried to ask a lift question because the info was scattered about so much I dug through a lot of BS to try to get multiple options in the same space. But appreciate the repsonse!

Also I kept typing in 3rd gen. So maybe that limited me. That thread is what I need

put it this way... dont rush into anything. Read up on this site for a couple months, because it will really teach you a lot. You dont want to go with a cheap lift and decide to stick 500 lbs of gear in the bed. etc. There are many value options to lift your truck, but just like modifying anything, you're going to want to change your mind.

I've seen a lot of people with cheap lifts that do trails they shouldnt be doing and other people that buy stage 3 lifts and never even leave the pavement.

People get on tacoma world or instagram and start seeing bed racks and RTT's and buy all of it then all of a sudden realize they dont even camp all that much ( then thats when you can get a great used deal on them!)

    just look for things like.

-lift options to clear bigger tire sizes
-correct spring and leaf rates for hauling, heavy loads, everyday driving, towing,
-bigger tires (past 33's) means loss of torque, mpg changes, re-gearing (EXPENSIVE)
-Driveline vibration and problems - look this shit up, its basically a book of things that can go wrong

trying to give you the best all around perspective. My trucks brand new, im within warranty, but the dealership wont check anything suspension or driveline related unless i drop the truck to stock... Am i gonna pay a shop 400 bucks to do that? or spend 6 hours of my time doing it? nope.

    read up bud!

Yeah thanks. I'm more concerned with the sag. I camp a absolute shit ton. I have prior gear and boxes I will be toting all summer and a fair amount of winter. So I was wondering even more than a lift if AAL would resolve that. I also failed to mention I pull an adventure trailer with Kayaks and mountain bikes..i don't want a rake scenario of my ass end being up so high when I'm not bogged down. But I've been looking on the forum since November..and decided maybe I should ask my issue! But really appreciative

yes! aal's do work. ive only seen some memers talk about aal failure. Youll just have the worst ride ever when youre not towing if you get something with heavy load capacity. lol

Haha. Yeah, I always have something in my bed..but I am a little concerned with a gnarly ride when not loaded down too. It's a Dutch door..one thing affects another and reverse
