This price dip is why you never go all in in investing but cost average...
Set a monthly goal and just add some PMs every month...
But I would and I will be buying out this dip...
I'm about to my physical PMs limit but PMs are still the safest wealth insurance/investment available...
And I plan on buying out this dip...

With the economy starting to come around I still feel we have dug too big a hole...
The only way I see the GOV covering their track is to have high inflation to inflate away the debt...
Europe is flat stealing money from their citizens but they can only steal some of the money here and most likely will have to inflate away the rest...
So at some point 1, 5 or 10 years PMs will hit hard and when the do transfer that money to other assets as needed...
And transfer some to the family.....

I think the recent stock market rise is fake and not a true sign of a strengthening economy. The bond market is selling off like crazy, and a lot of that dough is moving into equities. We still have bad unemployment numbers (with lower than ever labor participation), and money velocity is still super low.

IMO, I think the equities markets will correct.

I think you are right on..
The stock market rise is just because of the bond market sell off...

I think the economy has leveled and may have a slight rise but obovisly we're not back yet..

Didn't happen yet which is surprising but understandable.

A stock market crash is not the end of the world we just know it's brewing.
It's how the big dogs make huge profits and buy assets dirt cheap...

The end of the "petrol dollar is not the end of the world just high inflation.
That is happening as we speak.
The loss of our "freedom fighters"(isis) in Syria will be a big blow to the petrol dollar.
Iranian oil will not be sold in dollars thus ending the petrol dollar...

Non of this helps me, but we are planing ahead...
And so are they, which is why they keep trying to sell the cashless society, to trap your money in the system before the final blow.

Country after country are leaving the dollar just like turkey did.

So yes I don't have a crystal ball just foresight.........

Doesn't matter if the DOW hits 20k. It won't last. It might be on its way into a correction as we speak.

IF it hits 20k, that will put temporary pressure on PM's and will be a PM buying opportunity.

Silver is among one of the most undervalued assets out there, while the equities market (and bond market, and housing market) is among the most overvalued assets. That dynamic will reverse at some point.

This rise in the dow is a little weird, where is all the money coming from?
Probably from bonds. Which is bad.
PMs are still very safe long term.
Sucks that they pulled a pump and dump on us, but that was just the first little break out.
I don't think Trump will think it is practical to keep suppressing and fixing markets.
I hope he pushes for free markets and let the chips fall as they may.

Either way PM are a very good part of a 5-10+ year plan.
AT some point they have to address the debt and PMs will take off.
We have a 20 Trillion dollar guaranty backing PMs. So I'm not worried.........

Again just keep buying some PMs every month.
Don't go all in, don't stop, just allocate a set % of money to buying PMs every month.

Every person can afford a min of 1 OZ of silver per week that would be my min recommended silver allocation as a part of your total investment portfolio.

So just buy at least 4-10 oz of silver every month until you reach your total silver goal.
Buy other PMs as your budget allows.

No mater what happens the debt is not going away.

Debt = Future Inflation this fact is not going to change no matter how they try to hide it. At some point you have to address the debt and this will = inflation at some point and that will be when PMs pay off.

@shr133 How much silver should one end up buying, as you mentioned "silver goal"?

Also, what other PMs, would you recommend for the average Joe? Buy them in a coin, bar...?

Hey Jake, I know the above was asked of Steve, but I will give you my opinion.

I recommend to invest 10% of investable income in PM's. Never want to go all in on any investment vehicle.

I also recommend to only buy American silver/gold eagles. They are easy to transport, and are very recognizable. You can buy a tube of silver eagles, which contains 20, 1 oz coins, and if you buy from a reputable dealer such as JM Bullion or APMEX, you will receive an unopened tube straight from the US Mint. You will have piece of mind knowing where it came from. You also don't want single coins that have been physically handled as oils on hands can tarnish the coin over time.

1st I like 1 oz Eagle and maple coins the best.
    1. They will be the easiest to resale to anyone.
    2. They are very recognizable
    3. Coins are next to impossible to counterfeit at the correct weight.
    4. they are also tax free
    5. they also have very good resale value

2nd I also like 90% US silver coins like pre 64 half dollars and dimes.
    1. they are no longer being made
    2. are real money
    3. some will have collector value
    4. smaller denominations
    5. but are much more around 30$ an oz
3rd I like simi numismatic coins like the kookaburra
    1. They go up in price even if the silver price stays the same
    2. may be harder to resale
    3. have lower production
I also have some generic silver because it's cheaper but sells for less.
I also have some collector and unique coins just because.

So I have a little of every thing and for different reasons but eagles, maples and 90% silver should be first on the list.
