I'll be in Mobile next week

 

If any of you Mobile guys ever want to meet up for lunch or grab a drink sometime I'd be game for that!

 

I'll be there Monday-Wednesday, I would be down for lunch.

 

Speaking of Mobile, one of these days, it would be cool to setup a beach meet and campout down on DI or the Eastern shore somewhere. I remember thinking on a couple of the trips down to Gulf Shores after taking the ferry from DI that there seemed to be a lot of truck friendly areas scattered along that route. Plenty of tire tracks, not sure if it was private or campable.

Of course, of course. I just never really think about Mobile now that I'm not down there and at the time when I kept seeing those ares, nobody was active on the coast on TW.

 

I too like the idea though. Summer is always a tough time for me though since it's proposal season at work..

 

Personally, would prefer spring or autumn, as I wouldn't much care to be in 100° and 120% humidity. lol

 

I'm done planning trips for spring. with these days we just planned, aop, moab, red clay rally. I'm barely going to have time to work on my house. proposal season starts late may early June at work and that's when I begin travelling too. proposal season ends at the end of september.

 

Just makes the beer disappear quicker!

camping in the heat sucks!!! i say that and i am going to Colorado In july . I am pretty much booked up for the summer and spring now. I may make the Smoky Mountain Overland Rally in april we will see! We are starting a youtube based Video adventure series and our first "season" will be our trip to MOAB and on through overland expo west. Then i am headed back out west in July for FJ summit. Half work with CVT at both and half play

 

We are a group of folks based semi locally. Part of our group is based outside of Atlanta some down in Dothan some in Auburn and then me here in birmingham. We are going to record our adventures across the US from here to MOAB through Colorado down to MOAB then on down to Flagstaff for Expo West. We are doing a 15 day trip and it keeps getting longer. I hope that yall will enjoy our videos. There is a lot more work that goes into these than i ever thought!

 

We are also hoping to have all of our ducks in a row to get a little teaser from our trip to Florida here in a couple weeks

never had bolt on, but love mine that are welded on.
