Surprised you stuck with the stock intake. Can't wait to here how it does! I think you went the best route with the ucon.

Congrats! A long task of items you've installed/replaced. How many hours have you been at it so far you reckon?

I'm not sure what I like most, the initial acceleration to get up to speed. Or now being able to easily pass cars in 6th gear, without downshifting. Can't decide.....???

Yeah from some trial and error I realized you couldn't go back to stock tune too. Kind of sucks because we were told you can however I don't see that in writing from bd or magnuson stating it.. only way is to replace ecu.

Haha for real dude. If I would of known there was no going back I would of not gotten the bd and used the 500 bucks towards uconn. Now I'm thinking of just getting the urd afr to richen up the afr while in boost and closed loop. I wonder if there is a way to keep your vehicle is open loop, runs great while engine is cold (open loop).

It's not in open loop when it's cold, just runs richer in closed loop.

If it's true that there's no way to go back, that means you can use a single Bully Dog tuner to tune/fuckup/destroy as many trucks as you want.

My truck runs fine and my Bully Dog if you turn it on shows it's not attached to my VIN and says 'Not Installed'. Maybe I should start my own tuning business.

If anyone else wants to buy a supercharger, just get it without the Bully Dog. Save yourself $500. I'll loan you my Bully Dog so you can fuck up your truck for free.

I have been emailing him back and forth about it. Will let you know the outcome.

In all fairness for me the bd did the same as trd flash, just that I thought I could uninstall bd if I wanted another tuning option. As soon as I get positive vacuum I run a little lean until it goes open loop which is dumb and might have consenquences long term from what I keep reading.

I'm pretty sure you can uninstall the BD tune.
Have you called BullyDog? According to their documentation you can uninstall the tune.

Yes I have called, according to them when the device says not installed that means not installed to them. However it still reports the supercharged ecu calibration id. Also remember I installed the bd tune before the sc install and it ran like shit (which is probably because the sc wasn't installed which I admit) and I tried to uninstall it without success then too.

    Update:
Now I have 3 weeks on the XBDTIS (extracted BD tune then hooked up to the Toyota TIS diagnostic) 1400 miles thrilled to report no CEL/P0101 runs nominal, no surges, hesitation or crazy shift point and goes fast as heck when i hit it. Now I will continue the mods in this sequence, 1) oil catch can 2) URD y-pipe with stock muffler 3) Speedhut AFR and Boost gauge 4) will assess noise level since I will be eliminating 2 cats my goal is stock quiet-like and maybe go to 3" pipe and huge muffler or two.
