NJ B.S. Thread

PA drivers stay slower for a reason, mostly unspoken, that has to do with enforcement. In Jersey, the locals decide when to enforce, and the state boys patrol and harvest to keep down the insanity. In PA the interstates and state roads are the domain of the state boys, who show up and shit on everyone when you get a single selfish ass who decides that 80 in a 55 is just fine. People try to self regulate to keep the state boys holstered. Been driving both states for 30+.

Amen. This is the truth of it. Licenses are too easy to get, and there is too little information taught. Almost no actual driving ability is needed to get a license, and we all suffer.

You mean NYC or the rest of NY? No one likes city drivers except other city drivers. And even they all hate each other. Can't speak for the rest of NY.

Interesting. So they drive slower out of fear basically. That's awful. While I do approve of better driving habits, I disapprove of law enforcement through fear. There's already too much of that. And now here's more I didn't know of.

Hey Casey, if you don't mind, can I borrow 'em this weekend?

 

It's a compromise. I'd rather be able to do 70 in a 55 most of the time, instead of getting bogged down to 45 due to enforcement having to govern due to one bad apple.
And while on the subject, while NY drivers are assholes in general, most Maryland drivers are by far more inconsiderate.

 

Lol no, more like PA and NJ drivers suck but when it comes to sucking the most, NY drivers take the cake.

 

Connecticut drivers are the worst. But I blame their state. Too many fucking left lane exits.
