LOL I'm not worried about the labor. I need someone that can (or hire someone that can) draw up plans and get permits from the city. Not sure if that's an engineer or architect - or both? That's why I'm looking at general contractors that can take care of that stuff.

 

Anybody here really good with cutting into sheetmetal?? I bent the front fenders on that eagles lake run. I think i want to cut 1/2 -1 inch all around.

Yeah, make sure the person you hire is familiar with your jurisdiction's ordinances/policies/processes/etc. because it makes a huge difference in how well things move through the planning and building departments

 

I remember @Iggy mentioned he had some success when he cut for 35s...which I may be going up to in the next couple months

 

I've got a steady hand and die grinder guess that makes me ok at cutting lol

 

I hear @ffdawson is pretty good with an axe.

I did trim on the lower portions and did great on 3 sides. But the last one did not fare so well as i continued to consume alcohol during the process
