This is a long time debate. Skinny or fat?

Well now that i have both...

I like fat personally. Its much smoother offroad.

Turning is sharper with the skinnies though and power is better and better mpgs.

But i wont be running another pair of skinnies again likely. I like how the fat tires handle offroad and am happy to take the mpg hit for that. The float is great.

Others hate fat tires because the steering is almost hidden, it is not as direct and there is less feedback into the wheel. I don't like feeling every freaking bump in the road especially the small annoying ones and turning is more fun when its a little slidey i think :p

Its still very much a personal preference, mine is fat. Your's could be skinny :notsure:

Yep, I leave my radar detector plugged into the cig lighter so I dont have to turn it off when parked (usually 2 weeks/month at the airport). I use the accessory ports for my XM Radio (I use a Lynx and remove it when leaving my truck) and 3 Port USB outlet plugged in (2a each) so I can have power with the switch off. If I didn't have at least one switched, I'd forget to turn my radar detector off and return from a trip with a dead battery - don't ask me how I know, but my AAA pays for itself.

15x10s are WIDE. they make a 12.5'' wide tire seem super wide. You'll want very little back spacing and you'll be trimming the lower fender as well as a lot of hammering of the fire wall. Just cut the pinch weld off.

They do fit though. Tire will stick out from the fender about 2'' generally.

    That's what I want. :D

I think they are like 3.6bs, I have 3.5 now with 17x9s. Probably grind the pinch weld off and have some fun with a 2lb hammer
