    Exactly :D LSU 4.9

Most other AFR gauges either use a 4.2 or a 4.9 as well.

OEM is definitely Denso. Now that I'm thinking about it I bought a 4Runner years ago that I put a Bosch in that did fine.

My AEM UEGO wideband Bosch sensor has to be replaced about once a year so I'm not ready to say they're awesome.

IMG_20170118_172026.jpg Good news, got the AFRs to adjust :D

    AFR. OffVlt. STFT
    9.5:1 -0.503 19
    11:1 -0.406 19
    11.5 -0.392 15
    12:1 -0.358 10
    12.5 -0.368 5
    14.7 -0.300 0
    15.5 -0.203 0

As you can see I'm missing some values like 13:1 and 13.5:1, but the above was a accomplished in like 10 min. If anything this proves the AEM's usability to me, whenever you don't screw everything up of course :bananadead:

So now to set the o2 and fuel maps properly and yeah assuming that goes well I'll get into finer tuning.

Oh and @Clay_916 I ordered those plugs :D

Also I've had this persistent oil leak for forever and yesterday when I was under the truck I noticed a drop fall from the top of the passenger side head, upon further inspection it wasn't the valve cover like I thought but appears to be leaking from some sort of tin looking cover... I haven't looked into yet but I hope it's the leak.

Sounds like your oil cooler is leaking, that's what that little tuna can looking thing is.

The tin looking thing is like a stamped tin cover below the valve cover.

From more reading it appears to be cam seals? I'm gonna look into it more and see but it seems like a pita...

Hell Yeah! Finally something you can work with! What did you change to get the o2 skew to actually work?

Can't wait for this thing to be rippin' brodies.

This is an awesome thread, been reading along the entire way.

What would you / y'all believe the hp difference would be on your current setup on the stock ECU vs a properly tuned AEM setup?

At most on a stock ecu? To the wheels? I dunno like 200-230. For pretty cheap you could get supra injectors, boost reference your fuel pump (free) and get URD's MAF calibrator and be doing pretty good.

With 650's an upgraded fuel pump and a tune you can easily destroy the motor with to much power, but can safely run like 300-350hp to the wheels. (Just gesstamations)

    Lol

Can't wait to smoke the lifted bro Silverados everywhere :D

Oh and basically what I did to get narrowband tuning was as follows

    Set o2 load to MAP
Set o2 adjustment values to offset
    Wired in a 10k resistor
    All works like butter :D

I did try a 1k like vasinvictor talked about, but I unknowingly left my o2 unplugged with the 1k in there, thought the 1k was the issue, soldered in the 10k, realized I left it unplugged, plugged it back in then continued :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead: lol so long story short I used a 10k resistor for skewing, after intending to use a 1k... As you can see my forgetfulness and sort of lack of luck plagues this build...

I just got done putting in my o2 and fuel map tunes :D :bananadance:
STFT are -7 to 3 at any given point but stay around -3 to 0
I also tried out a little antilag esk idea that @vasinvictor gave me

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFkhHMgL8Fo

Its not really anti lag, but I think the potential is there :D

I also downloaded all engine ECU EWD's for:

    Tacomas 95-04
    5VZ-FE, 3RZ-FE, and 2RZ-FE

    Tundras 00-04
    5VZ-FE, 2UZ-FE

    T100s 95-98
    5VZ-FE, 3RZ-FE

    4Runners 96-02
    5VZ-FE, 3RZ-FE, and 2RZ-FE

I figured I'd grab all the engine ecu diagrams that existed with the 5VZ-FE during its production span.

I'm dyno'd at 310whp...... aem, injectors, methanol. And I know for sure I can fine tune to get more. A lot more. I've just been keeping it safe.

So how is the driveability now? Should be quite smooth.

There is that 5vz power cliff, which we came a across while looking for OEM dyno charts.

So strange to me how it dive bombs like that.

My guess is that Chinese turbo.

If you want more power @j0shu4 you should look into e85. Fine tuning won't make any more power, just smooth things out. All you really need is more boost.

One would think, but the N/A graphs are to similar to agree completely. Massive drop off. Got to be some turbo components causing it as well.
