So, are the bugs out of the 17 models? Or are they (as some say) a Turdgen

I am not calling BS on your numbers. Just saying that my OR/PRO which are both lighter than yours is getting 6-10 MPG less than yours!!! I am jealous

Is this instantaneous or over the whole trip? How fast were you going?

The number of real issues out there isn't as big as you would think.

    The real issues IMO

    1. An automatic that is programmed for fuel economy and thus has trouble holding gears on slight inclines.
    2. Crankshaft position sensor. It it fails, the truck will die. Easy fix. Part was updated March 2016.
    3. Howling rear diff. Makes noise, but TBD whether or not it actually means the diff will fail prematurely.
    4. Low fluids from factory. Pretty easy to get checked for piece of mind.

Most other issues are not that widespread, have been addressed, are easy to fix at home, or are noisy plastic pieces.

Edit- oh yea and the gas pedal vibrates more than it should. Most people won't notice it or will just get used to it.

You can get more miles per gallon by driving under 50 mph, coasting downhill, and not driving like a chimpanzee.

PS: The "driving like a chimpanzee" part was plagiarized from another member...laughed my a$$ off when I saw it posted.

This ^ and funny how people rag on the warranty but when they buy a third gen the tune changed to "oh you have a warranty blah blah blah". Stop making exscuses people.

The best warranty is one you never have to use

    Ask the Hyundai/Kia owners

But warranties make you feel all warm and fuzzy while you're sitting in the dealer's waiting area for your vehicle to be done, not to mention the joy of taking time out from your schedule to drive there.

Check out a lexus or a Aston waiting area. Then go to Hyundai /Toyota :)
