You're asking a lot of money for something that you're willing to throw away?

 

I think he meant throw away the sleep platform, not the tent.
edit: not sure if he is trying to sell the platform for lots of $ or just get rid of it for $5.

 

The money/ad is for the truck/SUV tent. The platform is entirely separate, and I'd give it away at this point.

I'd be willing to hold onto it one more week, but that's it. First person who commits gets it for free.

It's in good shape. Only thing I'd do is clean the plywood up a little and stain it so it's more resistant to moisture.

Also, this was built around a 1st gen 6' bed with the plastic Toyota bedliner; it may or may not fit other variations. But it's FREE and badass, so crack a beer and make it fit. You're welcome for doing the hard part

Way better. They flex if you hit them on things, they're wider for better coverage, and they aren't as long, so they don't drag on speed bumps.
