The sheet metal of the fender. Rolled just the lower idk..3'' or so in a bit. The tire did the rest.

Like monte said. 55watt hids are pretty impressive in the hellas. I have 6 on my truck

EDIT: i should probably note this is with 55watt retrofits aswell so 8 55watt hids in total. It really is nice and bright.

Thanks. Putting on dodge tow mirrors and was wondering how much bigger the mirrors I'm getting are compared to OE. Ones I'm getting are 10" x 7"

Not gonna lie but I'm considering finally swapping mine fore the ARB LED rip offs. My second gen buddy just got them and they look fucking fantastic and don't have that damn chicken foot pattern. Their output seemed really uniform too. This is partially out of frustration because the one connector appears to be shit and my one side doesn't always kick on. Might try to swap the connectors first or just removing the connector all together.

I suppose it's just the "look" in some places... Around here big trucks are left mostly stocks for farm use and towing huge hay trailers and such. Even they don't have the massive mirrors, yet in California and Nevada I see 1500s which can't carry a load big enough to warrant the mirrors running around with them fully extended.

You see the new lightforce 180 leds. Saw a 2nd gen on insta with em. Looked like a nice distance/width pattern

Tons of spacer/block lifted full size trucks out here. Most have their tow mirror extended, rockstar wheels, way too many LED bars, and ...

... and 12.50 wide tires that stick out way too far. :stirthepot:

    Please..for the love of god...don't.

If you want bigger mirrors get the 01-04 mirrors.

Yea I have been eyeing some 225w ones. I have seen the 185w ones in person and they work quiet well.

I increased the range of my Karr alarm/lock remotes. Last year when I replaced them, I ended up contacting Southwest Dealer Services for the replacements and some help reprogramming. In my talk with them, I mentioned how horrible the range was (I usually had to be within a car length of my truck for the remote to work) and the guy suggested I could probably increase the range by unraveling the antenna wire. So, today, I clipped the 2 zip ties and found the wire tied around the alarm brains. Now that I have pulled out the antenna (I looped it up behind the dash), my initial testing shows I have increased the range from 5-12 ft to 20-45 ft. Still not great, but way better.

My fenders bulge 7" on each side. The current mirrors work but about half the mirror gets blocked out by my huge besides. Not worried about what anyone thinks or rips on. It's my truck and I think it's badass even with all my chrome and hot pink wiper blades.....

    20170119_141339.jpg

I think these actually look sweet.......And not extended only come out 14".......

As I was.......not extended is 18". I'm not dead set on them yet. Want to take some more measurements yet and haven't pulled the trigger. With the bigger fenders it may work well for me. And God forbid I ever extended them. Maybe though if I'm pulling a RZR.....
