    Called toyota and provided them with the vin and they said the limited service campaign expired in 2012 for that truck so i guess it was never re-coated. Should the be the deal breaker?

    I would see what condition the frame is in. If it's solid, I'd go for it and put the effort in to maintain it. If it's shitty but fixable, use it as a bargaining point. If it's totally fubar, walk away.

    Recently I've seen people who had what they thought were perfect frames, and within a year.

    I see the listing on Craigslist has been deleted so I can't see the price and description anymore... but personally I'd pass.

    I ened up passing on it guys! Due to a mixture of having to deal with the son being the salesman and the truck not getting resprayed by toyota.
