Yea but then people started wanting me to go lower even tho it's cheap as fuck lol. So now I gotta start high so they feel like they've won when they shoot me a lower offer

 

I can undertand from that stand point since babies are little money suckers, but I also look at it as if you have to give up everything you like to do and budget yourself to complete boredom then can you really afford those kids anyway? Not saying this is/will be your case, but most couples I have seen have children and now don't have time/money to do any of the things they love and it can build resentment in your relationship. Also, since you DON'T have kids yet you should live your live and enjoy it and experience things while you can.

I don't know if that makes sense to all people but that's just sort of how I see it as the lady who isn't ever planning on kids.

There should be a formula for this so you can use it on Craigslist and everything. Like X+Y = List price where X is actual price wanted and Y is the lowballer inflation.
