I have a $50 rebate card for 4WP that expires after March 7th. I got it when I bought my tires and wheels a few months back.

I've been procrastinating on using it and I still have no idea on what I could buy. I don't want to waste it so I should definitely use it, but I don't want to spend a bunch of extra money.

So, what is a cool or useful add-on for my 2001 Tacoma ext cab with 2.5" lift and 33x12.50s? I'd like to keep it around $50-100. Maybe some lights or something...

    Thanks
    Hunter

First off, $50 bucks isn't much. Second, 4WP is a JC Whitney for JEEP parts. Maybe you can cash it and use the money on gas or somewhere else.

I know it's not much but I'm sure I could get something useful even if it is just a handheld spotlight or something.

If it was me personally if I had only 50 bucks to toss a upgrade on it would likely be a bug deflector. Though since your car is lifted and has bigger tires compared to stock it's probably practically useless haha. I know for my truck I kept getting small chips in my front hood until I tossed a defector on, but then again its unlifted and 14" tires.

A bug deflector is a life saver for me as well. I installed a new one last week because my old one got cracked from a dump truck that kicked up a large rock. It broke a $40 piece of plastic opposed to a $300-$500 paint job. It's worth it in my opinion.

Speaking of rocks and cracks... About 2 months ago I had a crack that was over halfway across my windshield because it spread from a little nick on the highway.

So I got a local place to replace my window while I was at school but I didn't know that the place had recently switched over to hiring other companies to do their work. And apparently they are not recommended by state farm anymore but I didn't know that beforehand.
Back to the story, I was in 3rd block and I got a text from a friend who could see over our parking lot from his classroom and he told me... Wait for it... That they were fixing another guys truck even after we told them my license plate, parking spot, color, and that I had a lift with 33" tires.
So I got pulled from class to go and see the issue but they had already started his windshield.
But I thought maybe our trucks were similar. But no, the other guy had a ~90 something red pre-runner that was stock and had about 27" tires.
So yea... There's a little rant. And btw I got safelite to fix my stuff the next week after I had been called multiple times by the first company.(but of course I ignored them)
