I don't plan on setting it more than 2 inches over stock, to achieve the 3 inches that I have now with the 1 inch from factory and the 2 inch spacers.
Why are these trucks so hard to lift? Jeez.

So UCA's will eliminate the pre-mature wear. And the best route is to just get the pin eliminator kit? Why are manufactures saying diff drop and g2g to customers :bananadead::frusty:

UCA will allow the alignment to be back to spec and also allows more adjustment to fit lager tires. It's the lower LCA ball joint that gets alot of wear. And trust me when that one goes...well u nose dive into the street and the wheel gets hung under the truck..lol let me find my old pics.

Im certian @HeadStrong Off-Road advises not to worry about UCA and diff drop unless you are approaching 3" and above.

    What's a pin eliminator kit?

Right, caster and camber jazz. Same reason I had to buy arm brackets for my jk. That doesn't effect the diff vibe though does it? Or is that something that directly effects it.
Thank you for all this info!

ECGS bushing will fix the front end vibes, then do UCA.

Correct. 3" lift will yield close to 24" which is above the 23" safe zone.

That's exactly what it will sound like. Intermittent vibrations like- vibrate (1second pause) vibrate (1second pause) vibrate etc.

    Needle bearing eliminator bushing!

Also, for UCAs get SPC Light Racing or Total Chaos. I would recommend Light Racing since they are cheaper but still tough. They use a giant ball joint which won't blow out like the oem ones that are junk. Total Chaos are uniball which can take more abuse, but they tend to have to be greased more and of course more expensive. Icon and all others are pointless, you're paying for the name.

They both will get your alignment back in perfect shape no problem whatsoever. Easy adjustment. Take it to a good knowledgeable off road shop or 4wheel parts are good too since they deal with UCAs a lot on other trucks.

I wish we had good lift shops here. But we just don't. I'm not sure where to take it, cause something like this I don't want some yahoo screwing up.

The SPC Light racing are the ones I was looking at for the future actually. Glad they are worth it!

The rule of thumb on the uca’s is the closer you get over the 2.5” lift mark toward 3” of lift the more necessary they become in order to get your truck back into alignment. So at 2” you are typically fine not running them, at 2.5” you are on the cusp of whether they are needed or not, and at 3” you pretty much need them. Of course there are exceptions to every rule. :D

Just ordered the full kit from East coast gear. Found a local A1 gear that says they can handle it, especially since they do not have to pull the whole thing with the tools provided.

Wish they could get it done before I go outa town next week. Guess I'll just try to stay out of the 35-40 mph range as much as possible. Don't wanna mess it up

Don't think you will really need the sway bar relocation or the diff drop with the lift you'll be getting.

Since I already got em, is there a negative to putting them on anyway? I mean I could return them and get my 20 somethin bucks back, but doesn't seem worth the trouble if they help at all.

Running around with the needle bearing making noise in the short term is really just an annoyance. I pulled mine apart after about 1500 miles and there was only a little bit of polishing on the end of the axle, and my truck has 110,000 miles on it. Your not going to break any thing, but I feel much better now the noise is gone. FYI I have a 2.5 inch rancho lift on my truck with a AAL, and RS9000 shocks all around. Enjoy your project!!!

That's good to hear, I just noticed it a week or so ago. I'm heading to NOLA then Huston right after then back to MS.
He can get to me the day after I get back.

It is still vibrating or floating at all speeds regardless if I feel it or not? Just wondering if highway speeds vs lower speeds when I feel it makes any difference.

And thanky! It's so exciting that it's finally all coming together. The trip is to go get my wheels and tires :burnrubber:
