Sorry, but I'm relieved to hear you don't like the ride on the sport model. I bought the OR and feel it has a soft ride,I guess to absorb the rocky trail and I thought I should have bought the sport but I have grown to like the OR because of the shit roads in New Jersey it seems to soften the blows. This is my first Taco and I have learned alot in the 4 months I've had it. I could make a better decision now but then there's just not much to pick from. I think these trucks grow on you. Dan

My first Tacoma, but my first truck was the Ecoboost F-150, I am infinitely times happier with the Tacoma. Never experienced any issues mentioned in this forum either.

I HATE that my truck is silver. I way prefer blue or red or anything else. Makes me wish now that I would have looked at the truck to see what color it was before signing the contract.

Same. My SO rolls her eyes preemptively, because she knows I can't go past it without pointing it out in some way.

She is from central PA, so we drive by it all the time.

I hate the way dirt will stick to my truck just from driving it. I mean really, I owned dozens of cars and believe me dirt sticks to the 3rd gen more then any of them. The difference is Huge!

I'm asking for a total refund or I'm lawyering up, trust me.

    That's because its more aerodynamic!
Wipe the truck with Aerolon Tech Shine after every wash and this should help you.

Sorry op. Sounds like you bought the wrong truck for you.

Sport = street. In other words, it's suspension is designed to handle cornering better. This is achieved through the stiffer suspension and the wheels. Believe it or not, the 17x7.5 in wheels pinch the tires less and give a former ride than the OR 16x7". This restricts rolling from side to side during cornering.

None of it makes handling on shitty streets or bumpy fire roads any better. That is what the OR is for, to dampen the bumpy stuff.

The sport will shine when jamming up swervy costal roads like highway 1. I'm a surfer, drive A LOT of windy coastal roads, and my 4x4 sport crushes. image.jpg

Its a sport. Should have gotten the OR. Mine feels soft. Its a pickup truck, NOT Tyrones Cadillac.

The dealer tried that one on me. They didn't have a white OR and said another dealership within 25 miles have one and they would need a deposit to go pick it up. They kept wanting me to sign a contact before I even saw or testdrove the car. I said no thanks, walked out.... found all the dealerships within 25 miles and called around. Found it, went there to test drive, and purchased it after thoroughly looking it over and being completely satisfied first.

Just traded 16 sport dclb for 17or dcsb. Sport had a lot of body roll I thought.
