Got a question about getting my ccw for Montrose county.
I got my ccw here in PA in 5-10 minutes for $20 with a paper filled out.
Anybody have any experience with getting a ccw in western CO? I've heard your laws are pretty restrictive so I figured I'd ask.

While you are a PA resident, you will be able to carry here because of the reciprocity agreement. Once you become a resident here, you have 30 days grace to be able to use your PA CCW. After that you have to apply for a CO ccw. Which, is nothing like PA. You have to have a course here, unless you are Military. If you are military, you have 3 years from EAS to bypass the class, or 10 Years from EAS if you have pistol training. Once you have the class done, you apply and have to wait a little bit to get it back in the mail. Total cost will depend on location, around 100 usually. Laws here aren't really restrictive at all, other than the 15 round magazine limit, but there are ways around that. I came from PA last year and I remember you from that thread. Hit me up if you need anything

Yes @Firebird bring all the high capacity magazines you can in, you can't buy them in state. Every Sheriff in the State said the law us un-enforceable other then the retail sale side of it.
