SoCal Meetup @ Santee Lakes

It's $5 to enter the park and $9 for a 1 day fishing pass and another $4 for an extra pole permit....Everything is in the website. I have to packages of brauts (10) in my fridge I could bring those and the buns. I also have some ribs.

 

Count me in unless works get in the way. I'll bring freshly made egg rolls!

this is more like a fishing trip than a friendly TW meet. don't you need like a license to fish? i hope you all have yours at hand!

 

you don't have to fish, i don't think i am. All my stuff is saltwater so just going to hang. I think the Navy guys might like meat.

umm...sure, Steve's gonna pick me up?!? i said if i go, i'll bring h20 and juice for the kiddies.

 

This is a private lake so you have to pay to fish, state license will not work here. I'm not sure what kind of meat but its good. The people at my company loves it, its always the first thing to go when we have potlucks. Its not home made but I’m buying it from a place that hand makes them every morning. They have a bunch of old Asian women rolling these fresh. It’ll probably be code by the time we get to the lake but we can re heat them on the grill.

lumpia is mainly beef. and they're longer and skinnier. eggrolls are mainly pork and is shorter and fatter.

Oh hell yeah I am Rick I'm more of a baseball guy than football , what about you ?.........

Maybe a thread will pop up & we'll do some games , hit the cheap seats , drink some beer raise some good natured hell especially when we play the Dodgers ( I've despised them ever since Kurt Gibson (former Dodger) went public & said, & I quote: " With the amount of talent on this team & the level at which we play, we shouldn't have to play minor league teams like San Diego, they have no business on a major league field." End quote, he said this after the Dodgers beat us 1 time pretty bad, but it backfired on him/them because from that day forth MY PADRES have beaten the Dodgers about 85% of the time whether its at PetCo or Chavez Ravine....

 

We should get another person to bring charcoal.

 

Honestly I think watching baseball is kind of boring! Lol naw but I was asking 'cause this weekend were doing something at Petco park...I think some playes from the Padres might be there.... I dunno, but if I get a chance I'll get an autograph something for your crazy ass.
