Yeah it is a nice cheap fun gun. Makes for a good purse gun for the wife.

Yeah or a good spray and pray gun. Hornady has a nice round, it's a one slug followed by 2 lead balls called a triple defense. Here is a pic410_Triple_Defense.jpg

Finally picked up my Glock 19 Gen 3. Ffl has been yelling at me to come pick it up or he was going to claim squatting rights (ordered before Christmas).

I'd check somewhere else...I get 100 rds from WalMart for little more than that.

I fell off the thread since late November, picked up a bunch of toys for Christmas.

-Traded my Black XDs .45 for a bi-tone, and swapped my Tru-Glo sights to it
-bought a XD Mod 2 9mm, getting Tru Glo sights on it as I type
-bought 2 extra 16 rnd mags this week for the Mod 2
-got the wife a Ruger SR22, nice, lightweight, she's digging it and I like it too.
-new holster for the XDs came in the mail today, Christmas present from the wife

So my wife got me a range bag for Xmas. It didn't arrive by the 27th she called and they shipped another no questions asked. When I got home yesterday I glanced over at the grill and saw a package under it. The missing range bag! Wally World told me to enjoy. Apparently more expensive to ship back at this point. And FedEx almost had to try to get that package under there.

Savoyleather.com. They have some great designs, and they're made to fit the specific gun.

Oh it was a joke. He was yelling at me because it is un-American to not pick up your firearm.

Oh lol sorry about that. I thought he was serious.

I wish I could pick up my gun but here in Maryland they have a 7-day "waiting" period (background crap). It came in last Friday...

Does anybody have any feedback on the Vortex Viper HS LR 6-24x50 ffp scope? I'm looking for a good long range scope.

Great company - most offerings are top tier for their price point. Google search it and see if you like the specs. I think the FFP has an etched reticle. No exposed windage turret. Some known-distance LR shooters are going away from FFP because they need a thinner reticle at higher power, but I think FFP keeps it easier for new shooters to learn windage and dial-up. You're probably not competing or you would be looking at a higher tier scope, so I'll assume you're shooting at a local range informally...would be a great scope for that. Great for prairie dogs or pronghorn too, if you're into that.

That's kind of the way I'm leaning. I'm going to be using it on a 6.5 Creedmoor for long range stuff. I will also be using a good rangefinder.
I love the Strike Eagle I have on my AR so I'm not worried about glass quality.
